To follow God or Not to Follow God ?
This is the point.
Along the path to finding God there is this constant question in your Mind. The Mind wants to pull you one way but God is the other way, the complete opposite. Look at one but no the other.
Its a constant question, do I do what I want, what I think, what I know. Do I continue to do what I have done and stay with the familiar.
OR do I follow God’s will ? God is the opposite way to the Mind but that doesn’t mean that the direction in the physical world will be different or not. But it’s the question to point to God first before Mind and then follow. To remain in the now this has to be a constant process as God’s will is ever changing. God exists in the moment. Mind exists inside it’s own fixed framework constrained by thoughts and anchored by time.
To ask once and then follow that direction for ever looking back at the original point for justification leads you back to the mind unless you can keep checking the direction and keep rechecking on and on.
Surety is a path of the mind. The mind wants to know, the minds needs to know, the mind wants completion, it likes straight lines and definition. God may know all but until you get there it’s a path of twists and turns where you never quite know. There is no straight line to see ahead. The mind sees in straight lines. The path is a jumble of twists and turns. As you get closer to God so time becomes less and the moment becomes more. The path condenses into time and becomes one.
